Review
My
poor opponent. I’ve never seen objectives clump up like that on the table. He
only managed to find one objective, and then five were uncovered within 18” of
my deployment edge. Add to that the fact that I randomly razed a building, only
to discover that the final objective was hidden inside! That was ultimately
just salt in the wound, but it hurt nonetheless. I suppose that even the most
balanced game system will have such things happen from time to time.
It
was nice to dust off the Dropzone models and get them back on the tabletop. We’ve
been doing 40k with a good bit of dedication, and I almost forgot how much fun
this game can be. The move/countermove is a nice change of pace from our usual
outings in the grim dark millennium.
Stay
tuned for more in the very near future; we plan to start testing the missions
from the Reconquest: Phase I book very shortly!
