After Action Review

I’ve never been much of an Eldar fan, but that drubbing was a miserable spectacle to behold! The first turn almost seemed to break their back, and from there it only got worse. Those Baal Predators are just absolute butcher’s work to remove for a foot-oriented low-Toughness army, and even the cover saves simply couldn’t get it done.

Despite some late-game work by the Wave Serpent and Warp Spiders, the Eldar just couldn’t overcome that horrendously bloody beginning. They made the Blood Angels pay for their slaughter with the pair of Predators, but by then it was simply too late. The Blood Angels’ footprint was still intact, and their infantry were rampant on the table. Add to that the fact that almost every Eldar died to the first wound they took, and it simply turned the tides too quickly.

Brandon is still new to the army, though, and I’m sure with time he’ll learn to master it as he has the other factions he plays. He brings a very unique perspective to most of his forces, and in time I’m sure we’ll all be scratching our heads and wondering where we went wrong.

Let’s hear it ladies and gents; what would you have changed along the way?
