Hobby Log – The Maelstrom is Moving!

…but only about fifty feet!

In an effort to provide more space and better quality to our online content, the Maelstrom crew has decided to create our own studio. Our humble beginnings in a spare bedroom are movin’ on up, in an attempt to create more hobby space (and more room in my somewhat cramped house).

We found a great deal on a repossessed building that already had a significant amount of the internal work completed. We’ve got it in place now, and are getting it prepped for electric work. Once that is done the Maelstrom crew will be hanging drywall and doing some other finishing touches. After the flooring is installed and our lighting is in place, we will be back in business at a new location!

For now we will continue our battle reports as normal, so don’t abandon the channel! Just expect bigger and better things in the future. We started with crummy phone-shot footage of unpainted models on boring terrain, and each week we are taking steps to make the games more fun to play and more interesting for you the viewer to peruse. Carry on with us; we’re not nearly done yet!
