Review
We
definitely need to add a few pieces of terrain to block line of sight more
efficiently. While the Blood Angels might have been better served by waiting
with their assault elements until the tank support had killed off more of the
Necron horde, there simply wasn’t an effective way to come to grips with me.
That said, the Blood Angels forced the flank admirably and were able to
annihilate a third of the Warriors in melee. Even then, the Lychguard were
simply too much for the Death Company.
The
Necron army is going to undergo some adjustments as I find the money to make it
happen. It has too high of a model count as it currently sits, and it could use
some heavier hitters for support. A few Monstrous Creatures thrown into the mix
would well and truly ruin my day. I need to get the models to do my Heavy
Destroyer conversions, and it wouldn’t hurt to get some Tomb Blades and
Praetorians, now that they’re back in stock.
Stay
tuned, we’ve got plenty more games coming in the future!
That’s your cue armchair generals. What could we have done
differently to affect the outcome of the game? Let us know in the comments
