After Action Review

Apparently I misspoke in the pre-game intro. Rather than being psyker vs anti-psyker, this turned into a battle between anti-psyker and self-hating psyker! The Thousand Sons got absolutely nothing done in the psychic phase, and in many cases went out of their way to take care of some of their most resilient models on my behalf. It coupled to spell out a bad day for Chaos, and the Black Templars coming out on top.

If I ever continue my attempts to start a Space Marine army, this game gave me some knowledge about what I want to play. I don’t think the Vindicators really fit my style, as I prefer to defend locations with Space Marines, rather than focusing solely on advancing against the enemy. To do that I would definitely need more ranged options. Hellblasters and Predators/Whirlwinds look like a lot of fun!

It was nice to stand behind the Templars though for a change of pace. Stay tuned, as we have much more coming up soon!
