Kill Points
Differential
At the end of the game each player counts the number of kill
points they have achieved from their opponents force - including units created
during the game via mechanisms such as Conjuring, the Portaglyph, and others. Next, determine the difference in kill points
by subtracting the lower total from the higher. Each point won by translates to
+1 victory point, to the maximum noted on each
mission.
If you would be unable to score the
max number of Kill Points allowed for the mission due to your opponent not having
8 units in their army and you table your opponent, then you automatically
receive the max Kill Points for that Mission.
Game Bonuses for
Playing Against Super Heavy/Gargantuan LoW
If one player has a Super Heavy/Gargantuan LoW and the
other does not, the player without can roll on the Escalation Warlord Table
and gains +1 to Seize the Initiative.
For every 3 Hull Points/Wounds dealt to a Super
Heavy/Gargantuan Creature LoW, the player dealing the damage earns a bonus Kill Point Differential point.
ORDER OF PRE GAME
ACTIONS
1. Roll-off: Winner places the first objective. Players then alternate placing objectives
until all are out. In Mission 3, only objective markers #2-5 are placed in
this step.
2. Roll-off: Winner
chooses deployment zone. In Mission 3, players will place their 2 Emperor’s Will
objectives in this step. The player who
chose deployment zone will place their objective first.
3. Roll for Warlord Traits (disregard warlord traits that
apply to mysterious objectives and roll again on the table until normal Warlord
Trait process has run its course), beginning with the player who chose
deployment zones
4. Roll for Gifts, Boons and any other pregame rolls,
beginning with the player who chose deployment zones
5. Roll for Psychic Powers, beginning with the player who
chose deployment zones
6. Roll for Night Fight
7. Roll-off: Winner chooses whether to deploy first or
second. Fortifications are placed during deployment.
8. Roll off to Deploy Infiltrators
9. Player who deployed first must go
first.
10. Roll off for Scout moves. It is courtesy to ask your
opponent if he has any Scout Moves before proceeding to Seize The Initiative.
If the question has not been asked and the dice has been rolled, the Seize The
Initiative Attempt must be re-rolled only if the player in question actually
makes Scout Moves.
11. Seize the initiative.
MISSIONS
All Missions will use Variable
Game Length (pg. 133 of MRB)
MISSION 1
This mission uses a total of 5 objective markers.
Objective #1: Crusade - 5 Objectives (Win = 20 Victory Points, Draw = 10 Victory Points)
Objective #2 : Progressive Purge Objectives (Add total objective points scored during the game to your
overall score at end of game up to a max of 20 Victory Points)
At the end of every GAME turn,
the player who destroyed the most units that game turn, scores 3 objective
points. If you destroy a Super Heavy or
Gargantuan Creature during a turn, then you score 5 objective points for that
game turn. In the event of a tie, this
objective is a draw for that game turn and both players score 1 objective point.
Objective #3: +1 victory points for achieving First Blood,
Slay The Warlord or Linebreaker. Warlord traits such as Legendary Fighter or
The Hunt function the same way.
Objective #4: Kill Points Differential (8 Mission Points max)
Deployment: Hammer and Anvil
MISSION 2
This mission uses a total of 6 objective markers.
Objective #1: The Scouring (Win = 20
Victory Points, Draw = 10 Victory Points)
Players divide the objective
markers with one player getting #’s 1-3 and the other getting #’s 4-6.
Each
player places their three markers FACE DOWN at least 6 "from the table
edge and 12" from any other objective.
These objectives are worth 1, 2
and 3 points (point values determined by the number on the token - #1-3 worth
points equal to the number on them and #4 =1 vp, #5 = 2 vp, #6 =3 vp). Before rolling to seize the initiative, you
reveal the value of each marker. Points for
Fast Attack choices are scored as per the Main Rulebook.
Objective #2 : Escalated Progressive Tactical Objectives (Add total objective points scored during the game to your
overall score at end of game up to a maximum of 20 Victory Points)
All 6 Objective Markers count for this Objective.
Starting at the beginning of your second turn, you score
1 objective point per objective controlled. Players only score objective
points on their own player turn. The first player to score 10 objective points receives an
additional 5 points that round. If both
players score the 10 point maximum during the same game turn then this
objective is considered a draw and both players receive an additional 2 points
that round.
Objective
#3: +1 victory points for achieving First Blood, Slay The Warlord or Linebreaker.
Warlord traits such as Legendary Fighter or The Hunt function the same
way. (Possible 4 Victory Points)
Objective #4: Kill Points Differential (8 Possible Victory Points)
Deployment: Vanguard Strike
MISSION 3
This mission uses a total of 6 objective markers.
Objective #1: Eternal War: The Emperor’s Will (10 Victory Points for each EMPEROR’S WILL objective,
Possible 20 Victory Points)
Use Objectives #1 and #6 for Emperor’s Will markers.
Objective #2 : Progressive Tactical Objectives (Add total objective points scored during the game to your
overall score at end of game up to 20 Victory Points Max)
All 6 Objective Markers (Including Emperor’s Will
objectives) are used for this Objective.
Starting at the beginning of your second turn, you score
1 objective point per objective controlled. Players only score objective
points on their own player turn.
Objective
#3: +1 victory points for achieving First Blood, Slay The Warlord or
Linebreaker. Warlord traits such as Legendary Fighter or The Hunt function the
same way. (Possible 4 Victory Points)
Objective #4: Kill Points Differential (8 Possible Victory Points)
Deployment: Dawn of War
SCORING
Individual Victory
Points
Victory points are cumulated from Mission Objective scoring
and Kill points. An exception is that a tabling player receives an additional 5 game
points. This additional 5 points cannot
take a player over 20 Game Points.
The player with the most victory points
wins the Mission.
If the victory point difference is
10 or less than the game result is a draw.
