After Action Review

The PHR are definitely going to take some getting used to. They play so differently when compared to my Shaltari armies, and I learned some of those lessons the hard way over the course of this game.

My Shaltari are constantly working for corners and trying to find a way in, and the PHR have no such concerns. While they obviously seek to avoid incoming fire where possible, they simply have too little movement to make it their top priority. As a result, I left myself without fire lanes in a couple of scenarios, and also hit the table too quickly with some of my units.

I’m looking forward to my coming games with the PHR though. They have a certain quality about them that simply brings a different aspect of the game to light when compared with my usual Shaltari tactics. I only hope I can remember how to play the little porcupines correctly after a stint with the rugged PHR.
