Hobby Progress – Arctic Fields Coming
It’s
Monday, which means another progress report on the hobby from last week! A week
ago I shared our progress with the table, which was the primary work done for
the last seven days. I also worked on the basics of my PHR army for Dropzone
Commander, but they’re nowhere near completion. With that being the case, I
figured I might show off the terrain we have so far.
We
still lack a small bit of work on each of these pieces, as we’re moving toward
snow drifts on some of the lower levels. I’m also going to experiment with
hanging some icicles from the rock faces using clear silicone. Without this
work though, the table is ready for a game. I plan to refine each piece as we
go along, but for purposes of gameplay the table is almost ready!
I
plan to use the rest of today to get these details added, along with finishing
the large mountain that is currently in progress. If everything goes perfectly
this will leave the table ready for a debut game Thursday, which should go to
YouTube later this week. Let us know what you think, and what features you
would like to see added. Over the coming weeks, we plan to get some forests
started as well that have removable trees for either 10mm or 28mm scale games.
The Fortifications terrain from last week is also in the works, which will be
mixed in for versatility as well.
More terrain progress will be inbound next week! We’re also looking
to build a second unique table. Leave your ideas in the comments below, as we
want the table to be interesting to view in our battle reports.
