After Action Review

Every once in a while, it is fun to step back from the larger games and play one of the smaller skirmishes. It lets you see power in units that aren’t so great at larger games, and it also encourages more themed play when you put a story to it.

The Canoptek Harvest has rarely ever made it into my larger lists, simply due to point constraints. It was fun to see how a small Harvest worked at these low point values. The cinematic was also ratcheted up, with more spotlight on the actions of individual models.

That Company Champion almost held the line, and gave the Space Marines one more turn to make a win of it. That single rend got past his Combat Shield though, and that was all she wrote. If my Reanimation rolls hadn’t gone so well, I’m not sure the Wraiths could have weathered the incoming storm…

More coming from Stulte Mors soon! Let us know what you think, and join in the campaign at World War 40k!
